COPIER WONT COPY AS LITE INDICATES PAPER JAM DON'T SEE ANY PAPER AT ALL

The paper jam error code for the Cannon iR7200 is 238. It indicates that there is paper stuck in the printer's paper feed route. Open the front access panel gently and take out the pieces of jammed paper to clear the paper jam. Look for any pieces of paper that may have become stuck in the paper feed channel and take them out. Before attempting to unclog the paper jam, unplug the power cord.

Electric code could be fuser, most liklely exposure light, Does it start to copy and shows jam, if paper feeds just out of tray and stops, bad exposure lamp...

It sounds like the exit sensor is sticking, so the printer doesn't know the paper has exited & throws a jam.

There might be an issue with the feed clutch or fuser. It depends on where it jams in the machine.

Open your developer unit and check sensor , refix it an close unit see........your problm solved

Sounds funny but this model shows a jam when the exposure lite goes bad. Turn on the copier and watch the exposure lamp, should lite up and not flicker. Lamp is still available.

Check to see if there is paper in the fuser unit, it does consertina in it. I wood use a torch because these are difficult to see without a torch. Take the left covers off to see better.

Do you get a paper jam or is the finsher not showing that is empty? You may have a broken bin or a miss alined bin or you have a lazy sensor flag. The copier should give you a idea where the paper jam is... May need more info. on this one..

canon i960 -three flashing orange lights (paper jam error) but no paper is jammed. The print cartridge will not slide to center either-- I have tried to get the printer into service mode, but cannot get there because the orange lights never stop flashing.
