That's because the Nook version of the S2 does not come with the digital certificate required by Netflix, Hulu and other paid streaming service providers to play their content.
-what device do you use to stream Netflix?
-what internet service provider?
-what speed?
-does it happen during the movie or after it starts?
-does it happen with Youtube videos (of any length)?
-where are you located geographically?
-have you called Netflix tech support?
I believe your device is overheating, you need to make sure that the Dreamcast is well ventilated, don't set it on a carpet or enclosure. BLow any dust from the unit, pull the Dreamcast out of whatever nook it is sitting in, and set it on a flat surface like a hard cover book, etc. See if your issues resolve themselves.
dont know for sure but i think that the tube is going bad. Have one in my shop doing almost the same thing.Taped on the tube and it does strange things. My tube tester wont test this kind of tube that is in these sets.Not much help but it is a start.
