Question about RCA E13309 13-Inch Diagonal XL-100 Color Television Television

MGA CS-1946R 19"TV keeps cutting out reception.

Beautiful picture and otherwise in good shape but frequently cuts out reception as if cable was disconnected. Have checked all conections and currently using another TV in it's place. Smacking the MGA makes reception come back from hours to days at times. Have removed back to find an RCA connector and 2 pin connector on the inside of the cable connection which I have cleaned and aligned to no avail. There is a clear box with what looks like a cap inside? What could be causing this problem? Bad ground? Any help before I toss out an otherwise perfectly nice TV? Thanks in advance for your help. Rich

The sound on my TV keeps cutting out. It cuts out for 1-2 seconds. It does this approx. every 30 seconds. I have changed cables and cable box....no change. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the final audio amp MOSFETs are overheating.
After set has been off and unplugged check for dirt and dust clogging cooling fins and parts. Air must circulate for cooling. Remove dust with a gentle blast of air or an upholstery brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner.
If this doesn't work the parts usually cost more than a modern set is worth and I suggest purchase a new set.

Hello Dear

Round face and straight face is really a very beautiful combination, a good BOB Cut with bangs on face will enhance yur face cut.
or A Star Cutting is also suitable for your face.

I want to add another tv to existing cable, can i cut the cable from the main source, attached connector ends to where the cable is cut and put a splitter on it? will the reception be affected if this...

You sure can try, but make sure to use good spliter that can handle up to 1GHz. It will also depend on how good your TV tuner is since it will only see half the singal strength. I use spliters in my house also with no problems.

GE TV cutting off and on

Hi power transformer is going bad..probably full of dust and/or melting from use. Don't waste money on repairs as it'll cost you more than the TV's worth.

Poor reception

It sounds like a problem with the tuner in the TV set. Hook up a VCR through the video inputs and hook the cable through the VCR and if the picture is still snowy, the problem is the cable. If the picture is clear, the problem is the tuner in the TV set. If you wanted, you could simply leave the VCR attached to the TV set and change cable channels through the VCR, or have the TV serviced. Good Luck
