Check the temp reading on the heater. It is probably set at 91...heater control should be set to 104

SOURCE: Pentair Mastetemp Pool and Spa Heater will heat to

This could be a number of things. Most often it will be the internal by-pass. You find the assembly inside the water header, it controls water flow through the heater. When it goes bad it can open at a low temp and keep the water from going through the heater.
Also you will want to check the temp probe on the side of the header. If this is bad it will usually show up on the temp display though.

How do i install an igniter in minimax

Pentair 472604 Igniter Replacement MiniMax NT STD Pool and Spa Heater

The ignitor is simple to replace, It is either a spark ignitor or a Hot surface ignitor. The above link will take you to a picture of the Hot surface ignitor, it is normal held onto the bottom of the burner tray, at right about the middle, by 1 or 2 sheet metal screws.

If a Spark style ignitor/electrode, then the bottom link is the one want to look at. Again, held in place the same way as above description.

My pentair mini max display is indicating a "LO" .

The pentair mini-max only displays LO when the water temperature is at or below 58 degrees F.
The heater is set to not fire at this temperature due to the condensation that can occur.
If the water is above this temperature and you are still getting this code, the temp sensor is installed incorrectly or is just bad.

Brand spankin' new Master temp 400 NG,won't heat past 77° spa is set at 101°,pool at 88°, does heater pool/spa temps have to be manually set to max(104 i assume) for intellie touch to...

if the intellitouch is properly wired to the heater, it should all be automatic and you should be able to control it all from the remote.

there should be three wires connected to the circuit board behind the manual control on the heater (labeled "POOL", "SPA", "Common"). Those are the wires that the intellitouch uses to communicate with the heater.

You can download manuals from the Pentair website.

Minimax pool heater cuts out at 91 degrees when remotely set for

Turn the temp set knobs on the front of the heater all the way up do both pool & spa temp.
If that doesn't help flip the selector switch on the front of the heater the pool temp. This switch doesn't control what heats up Pool or spa it just selects the heater on and which thermistat to use
