Hi, Is the line that is broke on the outside of the refrigerator? Is it the line that broke or the inlet valve? I am asking so I can be clear on what it is you need.
Please get model # so I can look this up for you.

Thanks
Vic

I thought my water lines was frozen but after heating water line the pump won't kick on I can manually push the points on and the pump will run but won't stay on by itself and still doesn't pump water

The pump will probably need to be primed. Look for a drain plug at bottom of pump casing remove it and see if there is water coming out. You will need to get into the discharge side of pump to refill with water. Once you see water coming out of drain then replace and fill pump and line to where you broke into line (union joint). Then try pump once again..

Internal waterline broke

i would need a model number because in most cases if the water line broke in the door, you would have to replace the whole door assembly.

The ice and the cold water have a musty odor

Check if any food may have fallen inside the icebox, like frozen meat. You can also install a filter between the ice maker and the water supply to see if it solves the problem. Good luck!

My icebox doesn't dispense water out of the front but the ice maker is making ice and works fine

There are several things that could be causing your situation. All functions on your refrigerator are controlled by a computer chip. When the lever is depressed calling for water, a switch closes sending low voltage to the computer board. The board in turn sends voltage to the water valve (if the freezer door is closed) and delivers water to the vessel you are holding. The problems could include a failed dispensor switch or a bad coil in the water valve (your unit has a dual coil water valve...one coil for the dispensor, and the other for the ice maker). Less likely situations could be a failed computer board, or the reservoir in the fresh food compartment could be frozen. If the reservoir was frozen, you'd probably also notice product freezing as well. A loose electrical connection at a number of locations could cease water deliver as well. You might want to consider having a qualified service technician diagnose it for you, as a computer board is easily damaged even from static discharge if mishandled. If you do decide to look into it yourself, remember to unplug the unit prior to attempting service.

No water or ice comming out it has been very cold

of the despenser you mean. 1= has it ever came out before 2=did you put an inline filter on the back for the water supply line they are very cheap if not you have calcium build up and clog up your hose it's white looking when you look in the pipe. turn off the water then where the water connect to icebox take it off and check it out. could also be the shut off. this is on the back where the water connects to icebox sometimes there blue around $12.00 give or take. if it's calcium soak it vinager. hope this helps

The water is dripping from the drinking water place mod: ED25DFXHW01

Hi.

To start ensure that the lines are not frozen. If water is frozen inside the hose to water dispenser, this can clog the dispenser inlet, causing a leak.

To check if lines are frozen, you can do a complete defrost, or try using an hairdryer on the hose to the dispenser.

If defrosting does not fix the problem , then you may need to replace the water tube. Here the part: PS371247

Here all diagrams for your appliance: ED20DFXEW01.

If you want a quote on repair, ring Whirlpool at the number listed on the owners manual.

Regards.

Cold water tap not working, house heating not as strong.

Okay let's trouble shoot this problem. The Hot water issue may just be that your Temp. control is not set as high as it was before it was replaced. Find the control on the water heater and check the setting. You can adjust it hotter from there, but it is not recomended to set it all the way to HOT. Just increase it at small adjustments and see if the water gets hotter. The Cold Water Tap issue.....Turn off the Cold and Hot water supply lines to the faucet. Remove the Cold water tap. VERY SLOWLY TURN ON THE COLD WATER SUPPLY and see if you get water coming out of the line. If you get water, then your line is okay. Inspect the valve to see if there is any debris in or on it. Clean and reinstall both taps and turn back on the water. It should work. Now if you turn the water on SLOWLY when the Cold water tap is removed, and no water comes out, Then you know you have an issue with the line going to the cold water side. (Frozen Line, Debris in supply line valve, Broken or Leaking Water Line) I hope this assists you........Joe

Ariston fridge freezer - drips water

I'm afraid if the door isn't sealing properly and staying cold then the ice will always be melting somewhat and dripping. Is there ANY way to glue/epoxy/fiberglass that part back on or repair the door, etc.? If you can't get repair parts either you may be stuck with a broken cooler. It seems like some shop (boat shop, auto bodyshop, etc.) should be able to repair those items with fiberglass or something. I guess it just depends on the cost to repair verses to buy new again.
