Question about Samsung RM255LASH Side by Side Refrigerator
Most of the samsung's have a reset button on the bottom front of the ice maker that just pushes in and it should start the cycle.

Thanks fridgetech. This was a new side by side with auto ice and water dispenser. It had just been delivered and the installer couldn't fix it so I sent him away and went to the internet where I found your solution which worked. The Guide makes no reference to a reset button. To see my reset button I removed the ice bin. On the front underside, flush with the housing, was a small 3/8 square rubber cover. Pressed it for a couple of seconds and the ice maker went into operation.

I have a Samsung RM255LASH model. The icemaker stops working every 2 to 3 months. It was evaluated on three separate occasions by different, but no one volunteered to tell me about the reset button. The third serviceman slipped and said he had to press the reset button four times before the ice would dump. However, he wanted to order a new icemaker for replacement. I insisted I wanted the entire refrigerator unit to be replaced, since I have had the same problem for almost an entire yeas and the warranted was about to expire. After looking at the newest model in Lowe's store, place of purchase, I decided to try the reset button for a few more weeks. Also, I decided to search the Internet to learn if other people had a similar problem with this particular icemaker. I am simply flabbergasted to learn that there is a reset button to this unit and servicemen from three separate companies did not volunteer this information.
