Plug the phone back in, and run the update software again, it should try to find the phone and ask to if you want to reinstall it. It will then say it failed and have a retry button, keep hitting the retry button over and over. It should eventually work.

if it does work, as soon as the update is finished, restart your phone and the update software and do the update all over again the right way.

Hope this helps! :)

USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNISED

Be sure the problem is not from the cable, by confirming that the cable works well with another phone. If it works well on another phone, try another USB cable.
If it shows the same message, then connect the cable to a different port on the PC.
If the message still shows plug it into another system.
If it works on the other system, then the device was not recognised on the initial system because USB ports must have been faulty.
You would have to un - install, then re - install the USB drivers.
Do this by clicking 'My Computer', then 'Device Manager'. Select 'USB Ports'. Right click it and select Re - install.
But if it still does not work on another system, and then your phone's USB port might need to be changed.
Hope that helped?
Success.

How do download a music from the PC to my cellular phone?

This process is not considered downloading but transfer, because you already have the music downloaded to your computer. You will need either Bluetooth or cable connections to connect your phone to your computer in order to make the transfer Bluetooth needs no cables but a little slower than cable connections. Connect your phone to your computer using the phone cable. or pair the computer Bluetooth with the phones Bluetooth this is easy if you already have Bluetooth on your computer such as if you use wireless keyboards and mouse, after select the songs you like to transfer and send them to a specific folder on your phone.

Phone doesn't recognise saved numbers when people call

First, download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues, like this error.

If the issue is still present, then it could be hardware related, and may need to be repaired or replaced. I would then suggest contacting your Provider for Hardware Support.
