Question about Kenwood KRC-794 Cassette Player
My kenwood krc-794 froze after i turned engine off and would not stop playing whilst no of the keys was responding and not display anything, pressed rest button then it died completly, when i put the facis on it makes some noise then rejects it

It has locked itself. What you need to do is get the serial number from the top of the head unit or out of the manual and call Kenwood. They will give you a lockpout code. Contacts are here

I'LL MAKE THIS VERY EASY FOR YOU, IT WILL ONLY COST YOU ABOUT $25 MAYBE LESS. JUST GET A WIRE HARNESS FOR YOUR CAR, PEPBOYS OR ANY AUTO STORE, JUST TELL THEM THE YEAR AND THE MAKE OF YOUR CAR AND YOU WILL BE SET, THE WIRING IS COLOR CODED, MAKE SURE THE HARNESS CONNECTS TO YOUR FACTORY HARNESS.
