Fan speed Our fan speed keeps lowering on its own and beeping every time it lowers itself.

If you have a fan that has different speed settings (1234, or low med high etc) and the only one that works is high - then the blower resistor pack has failed. If you have a climate control unit (where you just pick a temp you want) then the fan is controlled by the heating system and it sets fan speed. If you have climate control style try lowering the temp to a lower setting (current temp in vehicle) and see if fan slows down. If not then climate control unit or fan resistor bad. If dial type and you get nothing on lower settings (only high works like mentioned above) you need to change blower resistor. It is located under dash near the fan itself. Look for small unit bolted in duct near fan with wire plug going to it.

Your card regulates the speed of your card?, then you can instal a same , only higer efficient fan or just lower the temp of the surrounding, lowering the fan speed ain't smart at the moment, since it propably needs the cooling. Can't you place a largercooling block?

Check GM Bulletins before replacing parts

If you have replaced the blower motor resistor block twice all ready, i would be replacing the blower motor itself. When the blower motor is drawing too much current it burns out resistors for lower fan speeds in resistor block, but doesnt blow fuse for fan. Also check for leaves and stuff in fan when removing fan.

Light Operation: With the light in the off position press and hold the light button (do not let go). The lights should start at a dim setting and gradually get brighter and brighter. When they get to a setting you desire let go of the light button. To reduce the brightness of the light you must first turn the light off, and then press the light button and hold it in as described above. If the light is off, and you press the light button quickly to turn it on, the light will go back to the previous setting. So if you last had the light on the high setting, it will go back to the high setting, if you had the light at a lower setting it will turn back on to the lower setting. Keep in mind you can increase the light intensity at any time by pressing and holding the light button, but to decrease the light intensity, you must first turn the light off, and start over by pressing and holding in the light button.

When the fan is at the speed you desire, let go of the fan button. To slow down the fan speed you must first turn the fan speeds off by pressing and releasing the fan button. So if you last had the fan at the highest setting, it will go back to the high setting, if you had the fan at a lower setting it will turn back on to the lower setting. Keep in mind you can increase the fan speed at any time by pressing and holding the fan button, but to decrease the fan speed you must first turn the fan off, and start over by pressing and holding in the fan button.

Possible solution is to check the fan speed switch. These go bad and won't change the speed/ or function in the lower speeds.

sounds like that the lower speeds are not working on the blower motor, or the lower speeds on your switch is bad.

Usually when the blower fan only operates on hi speed, its because of a failed blower motor resistor. You still have hi speed because on hi, the power going to the blower motor goes directly to it, as opposed to the lower speeds, when the power is routed through the resistor, thus lowering the voltage, which in turn lowers the speed of the fan. The resistor is usually located near the blower motor itself, under the hood back near the firewall.

change the frequency on both so they are not the same they have to be changed in the fan transmitter and receiver

I would say the f1,f2,f3,f4, is speeds on the fan motor.If you turn the unit on to cool then I would say you need to keep the fan running all the time.But need to run it med-high or high speed to give good cooling.
