Hi all, After 10 repair jobs, all in warrenty, NEC refuses to help us with our NEC. It is desktop tower "Ready 9704" 200Mhz with a 3.2 Gig drive. This machine is 8 months old. Every three weeks the keyboard and mouse drives get lost and NEC tells us to reinstall Windows 95. The same problem happens a few weeks later. Thinking it was a hardware problem, NEC replaced the Hard Drive, Mother Board twice, Power Supply, and Floppy drive. Nothing has worked. Nor will they refund our money or replace it with a new computer all together. Basically, we are stuck with a broken computer and no refund.
Also, has any one had problems like this?? Is there anything we can do to help allivate this problem or should we get a good theorpist. If anyone has ideas, please let me know.

Sounds to me like you might be attempting to run a later version of Internet Explorer, such as 4.0 - it is notorious for problems such as yours, otherwise, you might list exactly what software you ARE running, and how your PC is normally used. I would almost *guarantee* you your problems are software related, and NOT a problem with the computer itself...
