Question about Evga (122-CK-NF68-T1) Motherboard

1 Answer

No bootup I recently wired up my new computer, it being the first computer i've built myself...and thought that i had wired it up right...obviously not.  It wont even get to the BIOS screen, just gives me a blank screen on LCD.  Power gets to the m/b, it beeps at me about every 3 second and i have a C1 msg on the two LED blocks next to the battery on the m/b.  Also CR12J2 is light yellow on the m/b as well....I really have no idea what i've done wrong, and tried researching the C1 light to see what that indicated, but to no success found anything.  anyone know whats wrong?

1999 Honda Civic LX Stalling/Overheating!!!

(I don't know much about cars so bear with me).

I've had problems of overheating previously where my car's thermostat would hit 140. I think I've fixed the issue, I've replaced the thermostat but it was still doing that and 2 hoses blew and needed to be replaced. I've had to consistently fill my radiator with 50/50 antifreeze on a daily basis to ensure it won't overheat, so far that seems to be keeping the peace.

But now as of 5 days ago, I'm experiencing these new issues of stalling. Upon taking my civic into my mechanic, his meter showed that there was a misfire in the 2nd cylinder a month prior and now all 4 are misfiring. He thought it was the head gasket at first. I had just recently replaced the spark plugs with NGK Platinums, new spark plug wires and a new distributor cap.

I've received many possible culprits to my problem consisting of possibly the Throttle Position Sensor, Fuel Filter/Injection, Distributor or a radiator cap. I'm financially strapped at the moment and only could afford the radiator cap which didn't solve anything, however my radiator is running on 80% water at the moment. I'm really at a loss and I feel like I've done what I could and I'm at my wits end. Please help my poor little Civic cheat death for a little longer.

Acer Aspire 2920 keeps restarting mid-use

It might be your ram. Try to take it out and put it back. Or it might also be that some of *********** board capaciters are dead. For that buy them online or radio shack. Unsoder the bad ones and soder the new ones. You can tell when they are bad because the top is bubbled up or it leaks a chemical. Make sure you by the same voltage and mi rofarads or about the same.
Good luck!

Gigabyte GA970AUD3 Refuses to Boot

did you replace the PSU power supply unit with a new or a heavy duty one
if its struggling with the fans winding you might need more power /grunt
also check cmos battery for a secure seating and has plenty of charge/power
check leads from motherboard to hard drive make sure all connections are secure
i read something about low resistance fuses on your motherboard you might want to check these

check the ammount of ram and compatability
If you're not sure if a module is right for your system, use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules.
hope this helps you

Hello,

I understand your problem. As you have added a new video card and do not have video when you try to boot up, are your trying both the upper case connection to see if the video is still being outputed from the original VGA source?

I would suggest that you reboot and go to BIOS, to see if your on-board video is still enabled.
I you can access your BIOS settings by pressing F2 or F6 upon bootup.

Good Luck

Hi im isaac i recently got a very strong virus and i removed it sucsefully bu my windos xp sitem ws damaged now i cant even restore it to its factory setings

There is no way to boot into safe mode and run system restore?
Alternatively, most systems have a built in partition (accessed through the F8 menu at bootup) that will allow you to restore the computer to factory condition.

How do I restore computer which is a compaq desk top

Most compaq PC's have a built in function to bring the PC back to it's factory state. This is stored on a small (hidden) partition on the hard disk and can be accessed by pressing F8 or F12 during bootup (before the windows splash screen). The menu option will be something along the lines of "repair your computer".
If you've changed hard drives, formatted, or deleted the partition, your only option will be to re-install windows using a windows disc.

Severe crackling during recording

.i assume the crackle you'r getting it when you are using the built in mics? i;m still in the process of troubleshooting my 2g but this is what I've got so far....the line in dosn't suffer from the crackel, so it cracked here open , didn't see any obvious problems on the board so i disconnected the black wire from one of the built in mics and this is what i found: odd and strange..... the crackle went away but i haven't tested that in depth yet 2. when recording it looked like i was getting some thing on both tracks odd.. thought 1 channel would be dead. anyway i got tired and put it away and haven't gotten back to it yet but about time i did so hopefully this weekend . hopefully i'll have some more useful info.. now a note on my take so fare as to where the crackle is coming from , bear in mind i've only had about 3 hours with the 2g so far so still getting acquainted. i'm getting the feeling it might be associated with the ACG or the record level auto calibration or clipping etc.. because i noticed that it seems like its starting ,checking levels, and setting things the a spike and it resets and starts over again. how ever the pattern is to random from what I've seen so far to to be anything concrete

Hi,

I have an older dishwasher also and recently my wife also complained about it not cleaning right... so me being the man I am tried in vain to clean the things... Bought new spray arms online and installed them in minutes...now the thing works like new... However I have also found that if the heating element goes bad then that also can mess things up bad... So I would buy new spray arms, and also check out the heating element to make sure it is working... Here is a tip that will help you with the online buying...

Vertical green line somthing like an artifact

Your Display cable (inside your monitor) needs to be replaced.

I would look on ebay to try and find the part and then take it to a local tech to replace it for you as I would not recommend anyone take apart a monitor (LCD OR CRT) if you had never done so before.

OR, Buy a new monitor.
