our patio heater is a little over a year old. It will not turn on. when you push the ignition switch you get a loud ticking sound, nothing happens. the gas cannister is full and is operational, as it works on the grill. thanks for any help. GET SPECIFIC PLEASE!!!!! My pilot lights - and then goes out when I let go. How do I "clean it out"? What "little hole" am I suppossed to poke? Do I need to unscrew/take the whole heater apart?
Your thermocoupler seems at fault. The thermocoupler is that probe that sits in the pilot flame. It controls the main fuel valve. Make sure that probe is in the pilot flame, better at the tip of the flame and hold the button down for a minute or so after lighting the pilot. If pilot extinguishes, the coupler is faulty. If pilot stays on the heater should fire up when you let up on the pilot button.. Good luck

I have a Coleman Cal Cooperage 107 hot tub. We recently had a power surge. Hot tub turns on but neither pump works. Both fuses are good. Electrician just checked them. No reset on pumps. Any ideas?

I have disassembled a large portion of the unit. I can hear the propoane coming out at the top with a slight hissing noice but the smell of propane is very slight. The propane tank is full and functional and I have cleaned out the top section where the gas is emitted. Has the regulator gone bad or is there another issue?
