You can use iTunes or iMesh instead for creating a playlist and moving files, but first you will need to copy all the audio files you have from your MP3 player to your computer then use either one of the 2 software I mentioned to sync your audio onto your MP3 PLayer.
Also make sure that the Firmware of your Zen is up to date.
I hope this helps.
Hi, You can do play list from your PC. By connecting your MP3 player to the PC through Usb cable..
Things You'll Need:
* Computer * Media player * Digital music files
Creating a playlist on your computer is an easy way to organize your music. Playlists allow you to organize music by different artists or different genres. More advanced playlists can even sort your music based on when it was added or how often you play a particular song. Creating a playlist is an easy task regardless of the media player you use to play your music.
Determine what songs you would like to add to your playlist.
Create a new playlist in your media player. Depending on your media player, this step will vary. There is usually a "Create Playlist" button that you can click to create a new playlist. In iTunes, this button is on the bottom lower left corner. In Winamp, click the "View" menu and select "Playlist Editor".
Select the songs that you want in your playlist from a new Windows Explorer window. If you are using a Macintosh computer, select the songs from a new Finder window. You can hold down CTRL to select multiple tracks. Drag and drop these selected songs into the new playlist you have just created.
Save the playlist you have just created. Most media players have a "Save Playlist" button. Other media players such as iTunes will automatically save the playlist for you when you first create it. In Winamp, click the "Manage Playlist" button in the bottom right corner. In the following context menu, click "Save Playlist". Name the playlist whatever you want and then choose where you want it to be saved.
There are two ways in which you can add a playlist.... 1......by using your playlist via the player... 2......or by creating one using the computer....
First lets see the one using the player...all you have to do is go to the song navigate option...highligh the song that you wan to add to your playlist and then click the record button.you will be given two choices..one add to my playlist and two erase.....click the add to my playlist option and you will have the song added to you r playlist.....
second method is create a normal playlist using windows media player with the correct directories in the player and then copy the file to the player... now when you press the menu button for a second or two in the songs menu...you will be displayed two choices....one file navigator and the other is playlists.... click the playlists option to access the playlists....
I had this exact problem as well. The solution was to allow Windows to "Scan and Repair" the file system. The scan will likely detect all the duplicate 0-byte files created as you tried to delete files, and will remove these. In addition it should resolve the underlying problem such that you can now delete files normally without creating more of these 0-byte duplicates.
if ur talking about creating a playlist with a whole lot of different dongs under one title then all u have 2 do is hold down (or in) the analog stick over the title or artist of that song then go to the playlist options and the should be there u can also save and rename the playlist rather than playlist01. now maby u could help me with a prob i bought my rca lyra rd2765a and now my memory is full so i need 2 know how 2 delete songs or even format every thing, also i downloaded a whole bunch of nirvana sonngs awhile ago and now when i click to listen nothing happens i can only view the titles if u have a recommendation plz send me a email at firstname.lastname@example.org thnx
T.sonic cannot operate after it was formatted in Windows Formatting T.sonic using the “Quick Format” or “Full Format” option in Windows destroys the default format of the T.sonic. To retrieve the default format, you must link to http://www.transcendusa.com/ and download the firmware updates for the T.sonic.
You need to do the following steps:
1. While the song is playing, press and hold the joystick button. A screen will pop up.
2. Select 'Favorite (+)'. Once you do this, you should be able to see the song in your 'Favorites' folder.
