I have 3gb of "others" in my 8gb iTouch. What is that and how do I get rid of it?

Others is like pics movies and other ****. all you gotta do to git rid of ite is to:plug in your ipod, go ta my computer and double click on your ipod icon, and then go to media or whatever and right click on what you dont whant and click delete.

I purchased a used itouch ipod 8gb and it is locked

Hold down the power and home keys down for about 10 seconds each while plugged into itunes. When the screen goes black, release the power button but keep holding the home key until itunes says. We have detected an itouch in recovery mode.

From there you can restore as normal via iTunes.
