Green shade color on screen over tyhe program that is been broadcast

My 46 inch dlp samsung has green lines all through screen but only when tv warms up. Can you help with this problem? I turned on my 61'SAMSUNG HL-R6167W DLP TV two nights ago and the screen was completely green, however in the back ground I could see the program that was been broadcast just that there was this front layer shaded completely in green.

Samsung DLP TV shows green color where color should be black

This could be your video board going bad where your input cables are connected --OR-- the color wheel going bad. Hard to tell without a photo or reference though. Try swapping the cables first... and listen for any winding or whirring sounds.

I have the same problem, the service people indicated this a manufacturer problem, they are not calling it a recall, but requires up graded parts which could take 30 days or more to receive. He said if they do not receive the parts in 30 days they might replace the TV. My TV is a Samsung DLP 61 inch
