Question about Amana Easy Reach AFD2535DE Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
The refrigerator door was left partially open for more than a day.
There may be a fan and duct arrangement that blows cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator compartment. That fan is controlled by the refrigerator thermostat. If the door was open for a long time the fan might have been blowing cold air continuously and ice may have built up and blocked the duct preventing air flow to the refrigerator. Check to see if you can hear the fan running. You may have to press the switch that controls the light since that also sometimes turns the fan off when the door is open. If you can hear the fan, check if there is any air flowing out of the vent holes at the inside back of the fridge compartment. No air flow=no cooling. If no air flow, unplug the refrigerator for a couple of hours to see if ice in duct will melt then start up and check for fan operation and cooling. Frozen food in freezer will be OK if you keep it closed while refrigerator is unplugged.

Most likely the introduction of outside air with it's humidity has frozen the evaporator coil over. The problem may clear itself if the defrost system is working properly. Give it a day to recover on it's own. There is a way to speed up the process but you'll need to locate the defrost timer first. If you can find the timer, advance the timer with a screwdriver, slowly until a "click" is heard and the compressor stops. Check it in an hour or so.
