No cold water

Kenmore elite washer. Cold water just dripping in. Switching to warm or hot water seems to work fine, just cold water is the issue. Can I fix this myself?

Check the strainer in the hose where it connects to the faucet.  If it is clogged it will slow the water flow.  There may also be a strainer at the end of the hose that connects to the washer.

Since U get warm water that tells you that the cold and hot water solenoids are both operating. Ergo the anomaly has to be with the device that controls temperature.

They start with hot or warm ,what/ever the setting and rinse with cold water. Check the temperature adjustment and the cycle it's on as some do different things on different cycles.

Cold water drips in instead of fills. Hot water

Inlet screen in the hot water hose is clogged (check at both ends) or the solenoid valve has failed.

Getting only cold water to my washer; hot water is not there

Hot water solenoid valve on washer not working. Test resistance across connectors. No resistance equals bad solenoid. Their not expensive and easy to install.

My laundry comes out hot to the touch. I used the warm/cold setting....

Check to make sure your Hot and Cold water lines from your supply are correctly attached to your Washer. They are labeled on the back of the machine, if you reverse them you should have a cold water rinse.
