Cd player keeps showing nd cannot play any type of Cd at all

Hi, my GE 7-5295 cd player will not work anymore. It just keeps showing nd for every CD I put into it. The radio still works fine. The player isn't even that old and I tried running a cleaning disc which still shows ND and will not let it run. I tried gently wiping over the eye thinking maybe some dust got on it. NOPE still nothing works. Please help I miss listening to my music in my kitchen. Thanks
