Question about Garmin Colorado 400t Handheld GPS Receiver

1 Answer

I am not able to dowloud my tracks

I am paragliding. I have bought Colorado to track my
flights. Unfortunately after instaling USB port any program (like: GPSDump 434.exe, Trackview or GIPSY for Mozilla) can download my flights. There are information like: No device interfece GUIDE Match,
Garmin is not seen, etc. In other place I have found information that my GPS device has no signutere. I have uninstaled and instaled again my GPS without efect. Map Source, genui program from Garmin, is working perfectly but this is not what I want. My operating computer system is Windows XP. Please help me.
Send me on my email any upgrate or solution that I would be able to track my flights. Best regards, Marek

Your GPS most likely appears as as an external disk from your PC. Open your log from the file menu of GpsDump. Search for .mps or .gpx files.

Hi

if your unit is the colorado 400t update its software from
http://www8.garmin.com/products/webupdater/

after the internal software is updated try using it again, also make sure you have the latest version of gpsdump http://www.multinett.no/~stein.sorensen/body_gpsdump.htm the 435 is the latest version.

gpsdump supports many of the garmin models might not support all of them. Please email
stein.sorensen@multinett.no if you are still having problems with the gpsdump program. He is the maker of the program and should know exactly whats wrong and how to solve it. contact him only about the gpsdump program if it doesn't work.

I just bought the GXL2200 CAD microphone without the cabels,(thought they would've came with), what kind of cable do i need?

As with most microphones, these mics use XLR cables. You can get them online or in a music store in many different lengths. What you need is XLR male to XLR female, though most of the consumer-level stores will probably just call them "mic cables." Note that the thing you're plugging into will need to have an XLR input, and will need to provide phantom power in order for that mic to work.

6.8.3 Bug: Thru on a B-port channel, it plays through the correct channel, but on the A-port.

This is a bug that was supposed to be fixed on the 6.8.4 update. Your issue sounds related to the original bug, although slightly different. I would try and install an older copy of the program. If you have an original install disk, with an older version of the software, try uninstalling 6.8.4, and reinstalling the older version of the software.

All you have to do is to connect with 2 cables your mixer's output to the two 1/4” TS plus in the front side of the Fast Track Pro and a usb cable from the rear panel of the Fast Track Pro to your pc's usb port. I suppose that you have installed the drivers for Fast Track Pro at your pc.

Lost computer details need to know what does what?

This model appears to only have a mic input. Which I have on other models used as a aux input. You may have to turn off the mic boost under "Sounds and Audio Devices" And select the Voice (tab). Then click on the Volume button for the mic. Now sliders will appear and that Advanced tab should be the boost toggle.
