Question about Canon PowerShot SD630 Digital ELPH / IXUS 65 Digital Camera
I have had my canon PowerShot SD630 camera for over 3yrs. This is the first time i have had this problem. My camera just won't turn on anymore. U have charged the camera until the light is green. I just don't know what to do anymore. Should I send it back to the manufacturer?
Yes I would send it back if possible. It will cost about $50 for a fix.
Some of these fairly new cameras wear out quick. It is usually due to a worn out lens or zoom motor. They also have a tendency to stick causing the camera to turn off or not turn on at all.
Also a fualty memory card or contaminated memory card contact point will do the same. You can clean the points with cotton swaband rubbing alcohol.

Try to turn the battery to the other side when you insert it. There are no arrows on the battery so sometimes it is confusing.
