Question about Sony Computers & Internet
Upgrade the hard disc
Make sure the new hard drive is using the same interface as the old drive (SATA or IDE/ATA/PATA). If you have any data you want to save, make sure you copy it to another medium (CD, DVD, flash drive, network location, another computer, etc) or you can use something like a DriveWire which will allow you to clone your existing drive onto the new (larger) hard drive before replacing it. Then just follow the upgrade instructions in your laptop manual for removing the old drive and installing the new one.
