Question about MSI K9N GM2-FID (7252030K9NGM2FID) Motherboard

1 Answer

Doesn´t start Hello! My comp. by the motherboard suddenly doesn´t start. All HW is OK, but most of trying time BIOS doesn´t upload. When rarely yes, the W7 (my legal W XP completely destroyed probably by a virus, as well as the BIOS I think, but I´m not a specialist, only an usuall user) makes a crazy start. Now I´m writting from the comp., but I never know, if my comp starts next time... Please, give me a text guide, how to reinstall a new version of BIOS and be so kind and send me the BIOS to my e-mail ivo.valek@centrum.cz. Thanks a lot!

Can the cpu be upgraded to BX80526C1000256! If yes what modifications need to be made? Motherboard is EliteGroup P6STP-FL

Hello!

If you want upgrade you CPU, you must first know, specification of motherboard.
If the motherboard can´t see a new CPU, more exactly bios, you can try only one upgrade bios.
I give you a link for a manual and upgrade bios.

When you upgrade bios, try new CPU, if bios again don´t see a CPU, you can´t do anything about that.

Memory clock running @ 166mhz and cpu temp from 111-145 degrees I have to f1 every time I boot up?

Hello!

I have just a few information abuot you problem.
I don´t know what degrees ( I think is F, because if degrees of Celsius you have big trouble).

If the temperature is normal, in most case you need to change a battery at your motherboard, because they is empty and bios lose information.
You also can have problem with another parts like CD or DVD rom, or if battery OK with some information in bios.

I hope that will be useful.

PSU could also be playing up and not giving correct voltage to motherboard - check outgoing voltage from PSU with voltmeter and check product standards for that model... If ok then it could be the motherboard itself - all it takes is a capacitor or transistor/logic gate(switch) and it will start behaving unusual...

Computer simply don´t open, mother board doesn´t too

TRY ANOTHER RAM IF THIS DOES NOT WORKS
TRY RESETTING THE BIOS CONFIGURATION FROM THE JUMPER ON THE MOTHERBOARD
OR ELSE THE MOTHERBOARD NEEDS A REPAIR IF IT FALLS UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD
TAKE IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER OR ELSE BUYING A NEW ONE IS THE BETTER OPTION

Prog not starting up

hello
its is a quite coomon problem, and the cause can be both the hdd and the windows itself.
if you said that the hdd is ok,try to install a new version of windows
for me iit worked almost all the time.
but to be sure first check the cable settings in the computer, all the connection, check the ramm dims and the bios setiings.if all seem to be normal, try a fres windows.it will fix your problems.120%:)
the registers of your windows are damaged and thats why you need a new version..
