Hi I have a JVC-DVL20E mini camcorder. I have it maybe 7 years. I want to know if there is a way to connect it to my computer. I have both windows and mac. Because it is older I am wondering is there a dock that I need to purchase or a usb cable to attach to my computer. I have old film on it that I would really love to download onto a dvd. I have lots of cables that came with it but don't seem to have a computer/ camcorder connection.Are they still making this model? Any help Thanks Vron please .let me know how to connect my device to mu pc. and which usb cable type am i supposed to have?

i HAVE THE SAME CAMERA AND HAVE ALWAYS CONNECTED USING A FIREWIRE LEAD WHICH I PURCHASED SEPERATELY it's under oneof the rubber flaps and is called DVOUT. You will need to purchase a firewire lead which has that small connection on one end and whatever size your firewireport connection is, on the other

If you have a DVD recorder you can put your film onto a DVD through the tv - that's how I've done it. Hope this helps.
