-   Mine is doing the exact same thing!!! Only mine has a reddish hue when it's on. Screen blinks off almost every 30 seconds or so! Mine was manufactured in January 1999, what a bummer! I don't think I got enough use out of the set for the money spent. Really dissapointed in Sony, the

-   Me as well...
I have noticed it will blink less at a MUCH darker picture setting, like putting the picture to it's lowest setting and the brightness to it's lowest setting and the TV will recover after awhile and take longer to start blinking again once you brighten back up. It still comes back. and it's a growing degree of green hue that increasingly tints the screen til BLINKing commences. Basketball March Madness was truly that!!!!!!!!-   Guest

-   Same problem here. We purchased the TV new about 8 years a go, and sense it was soooo big and heavy, we have never moved it. Now its blinking even after its been powered up for a long time.-   maxarbo

-   I have the sony KV-35s26 35" TV. The Tv standby blinks for about 10-15 seconds and the the Tv comes on. Once the tv is on it blinks about every two seconds, sometimes it will stop for a while then it will start randomly blinking again. Can you help me find out what the problem is?-   savedbygrace
