if the screen is white then it can be issue directly related with the screen itself but if it doesnt show white then the problem can be with the other circuitry..

This is not something that can be fixed at home. You need to take the phone to a store and have a technician take a look at it. The phone may need to be replaced completely as it may have damaged hardware or corrupted software.

As a general note - phones do not have "video cards" in the same way that your computer does.

This same thing happened to the screen of my Samsung Sync so I brought it to cingular and all they could do was replace it with a brand new one...according to them it's unfixable
