Paper jams after printing and will not exit top output tray
This is a brand new Samsung ML-2510. I have yet to have any paper come through the top output tray. It gets jammed up like a fan after it has been printed. It is like there is something blocking the paper from completing its cycle to come out. I have taken the toner out, and easily retrieved the jammed paper. I have put everything back. It seems to me that the start up sounds are exceptionally loud,[compared to ink jet printers] almost like something is not in correctly. Any suggestions? i have the same problem happening to my printer the fuoser will not move
Re: Paper jams after printing and will not exit top...
Take it back -- Samsung has a year warranty, but if it's brand new, take it back. I've had two 2510's and have been happy until they get some wear on them, then I have the same problem. This ought not to be happening to a new machine.

Depending on how long you have had this , it might be time for a new one. If its still under warranty, rather send it back as it could be a problem inside.
First do a couple of test.
Turn the Printer off and back on?
Reinstall the software for the printer?
Paper **** under the toner drum? Dont touch the green drum!!!
Pull toner out and reinsert
On the top side above the toner were the paper feed's after printing. Is there a paper jam?
Did you replace the toner with a "compatible" toner? If so the printer does not recognize the cartridge thus another reason for the red light?
if you have had your ML 2510 for longer than 2 years and 4 Toners. This is a good time to invest in another ML 2510 Printer. They are cheap and dont break up the bank's money printer to get.
There are a couple of reasons why this happen. A paper jam could have occurred. The cover might be open, try closing the
cover. There might be no paper in the tray, load paper in the tray. The toner cartridge is not installed. The printer has stopped printing due to a major error (you need to contact your manufacture for this).
you need do follow steps:
1) check fuser unit, the fuser hot roller is hot or not? if not the fuser heater fail.
2) check hot roller should spin with the pressure roller which is against hot roller, and check there is no gap between them, and also nothing pieces paper obstruct there, because if it losts pressure balance that jam should be occured there.
3) check the output roller after fuser unit(if there is), check them are spin or not, this roller kit use for pull the paper goes out the tray. if not spin means the roller drive belt or gear loosen.
3) check paper sensor that is micro swtch around pulling roller or output area and to clean it (could be a optical sensor).
hope help you something fixed, please take a rating let me know how much helped you thanks! keep in touch your question
first, if thare any paper is jamed in the paper tray, pull the paper stright out. take out the remaining paper. close the paper tray.
opne the front cover pull out the toner cartirdge, remove the jamed paper.
open the inner door (where the paper exit). make sure there is not paper jamed it.
close the front door. if any paper jamed inside of the machine, it should automatically eject it out.
Note: reset the printer by opening and closing the front door.
Sound like the printer cartridge is either bad ..or now snapped in properly..might try to clean the feed roller the one that pick the paper with a cotton swab or lint free rag with some isopropic alcohol. paper dust will cause slippaged and jam. should be located either in the paper tray or just look above for black or grey rollers (when you have the tray out)
