Question about GE Energy Star WCVH6260F Front Load Washer

Clothes wet, doesnt spin fast

Clothes are soaking wet. Pulled the filter and cleaned. It had allot of stuff in it. Ran a quick wash cycle and the unit is not spinning fast, nowhere near what it spun at before. When changing spin speeds, it is useless. Checked filter again, everything looks good. Is the dirty filter and slow spin speed related or just coincidence

Problem solved. Pretty stupid of us.

Seems like the original problem was the filter was clogged. Then when the clothes were soaking wet, most items were removed as they were light and didnt hold much water and thrown into the dryer. The only thing left was a small blanket which caused the washer to be unbalanced and not spin at full speed.

Once the blanket was taken out the washer worked fine.

Hi the spinning cycle is like not long enough and the barrel vibrates allot then the washing is still wet please help got the machine already for 10 yrs very good machine

Doesn't ever get get up to speed when spinning. Appears brake keeps coming on and slows it down. Belt is in good condition and we cleared drain tubes, and checked pump.

Check the drain spigot, where the drain hose attaches to the drain trap under the sink/tub.There may be a blockage in the spigot which is causing the water to drain very slowly and therefor not allowing the machine to spin at normal fast speed.

2 things are possible. Can you tell if the spin cycle is engaging? If the spin cycle is not engaging properly or very fast, then the water will not leave the clothes. less likely is that the machine is not draining the water away properly or fast enough.

Soaking wet clothes after spin cycle

Check and choose a longer spin cycle and see if the fault changes. If so the SPIN cycle is too less or there is less action or speed in the cycle, check the motor speed, check the capacitor to the motor, the spindle friction - if so reset the spindle and drive.

Washing machine does not spin well and leaves the clothes soaking wet

Likely a bad belt or tensioner causing it to slip. Take it apart and look to see what the belt is doing or call a repair man.

My clothe come out very wet at the end of the wash cycle

If the pump is clogged and can't release all the water it won't go into final high spin. Remove lower cover and locate coin catch and unscrew it. Water will come out, so be ready. If it's full of stuff, this is probably the problem.

LG front load washer/ clothes still wet after final spin

The heavy jacket prevented the washer from spinning at a rapid pace, so I added a heavy bathrobe to absorb some of the water and to balance the load. The washer then spun very quickly and drained out all the water.
