Logitech Z-5450 5.1 surround sound speakers - no sound from rear right only

I have recently moved house.  All the speakers used to work fine.  Now the rear right has a flashing red light and no sound.  The control unit has a flashing green light corresponding to the "link right".  I do have a wireless modem and landline phone but I have switched them off with no success.  I have also tried using a cocktail stick to reset the speaker and the control unit again with no luck.  I have tired powering down the control unit and the mac but again no good.  I tried plugging the rear right speaker in in  another room - again the flashing red light remains...any ideas? Hope you can help, Paul I have the same problem with the z-5450 speakers left one just wont work, have tried resetting them and main modal and still no go, am annoyed that logitech is such a good brand and then have this happen not happy campa,LED red light stays solid and yellow light on back thinks is connected because it was staying on, can anyone help me???

Crigas: I have a dead rear speaker and as I'm no longer covered by warranty I want to open it up to peek inside to see if there is something that can be done. What did you do to get through the glue? Heat it?

Unfortunately I have the same problem. As an electronic engineer I suspect that the power supply part of the unit is damaged. I opened up the module (don' t try it, its a little bit tricky since there is a type of glue around the silver bezel, after you remove the 4 screws from the front holes) and did some quick static measurements with a multimeter, so far no luck. Since I am still in warranty I will try to replace the item. Hint: protect your electronic equipment with ups or surge protection devices.

No sound from Creative Labs Speakers- Please help

to localised your problem, try to plug your speakers to other sound source like mp3 player ,stereo system. if still no sound coming from it,your problem is within the speaker system. perhaps the audio power amplifier ic inside, need to be replaced.
