Question about Samsung HLP4663W 46" Rear Projection HDTV
I have two problems that reappeared after the TV was serviced for the same problems right before the warranty period expired:
1. When turned on the screen is red or blue. Sound and image are working. This happens randomly and sometime there are three months occuring again;
2. The TV turns itself off. It starts doing this almost two or three times a day which is quite annoying. I have read to a similar question that the cause are the tactile switches. Are you saying that it is the remote that causes this? If no what other tact switches are there?
I appreciate the help.
No make sure that your set is getting plenty of fresh air clean your filters and check to see if your color wheel is going out it is a small glass wheel with all the colors on it

Switches are NOT a problem on this model. Only HLS models.....Probably lamp/color wheel or it's too close to rear wall and not getting enough fresh air
