The clutch contact on your KODAK Carousel 600 Projector has either burned off from use (the projector is almost 50 years old) or is out of adjustment. Either condition will allow the continuous cycle to happen. Because of the projector's age, parts will be really tough to come by. I have attached a diagram to show you what the affected parts look like. Be sure to take extreme caution - - there is exposed electrical contacts all over with the bottom cover removed. Also, be sure to remove the lamp and all optics before starting this repair.

I have the Kodak 650H with the same problem. Can you put up a clearer (bigger) diagram for that as well? Thank you.

Slide projector is advancing slides too fast

You didn't specify a model. That will change the detail-level solution... The most generic answer I can give you is that the slide advance mechanism is supposed to make one revolution and then be captured until it gets another signal (like from the FWD/REV buttons) to activate. The most likely cause of continuous cycle is that the wire that CAPTURES the slide advance mechanism is either broken off, burned off or out of adjustment. With more detail I can be more specific. Good Luck!! Jim

Slides continue to advance,wont stop

The continuous cycle is caused by the slide change clutch contact. This contact is either burned off from excessive use or has somehow moved out of correct adjustment. I have attached an image that might help you identify correct alignment. For parts, contact: www.micro-tools.com

Kodak 850h continually changes slides

The problem you have is called "continuous cycle". It occurs when the clutch spring is no longer captured by the cycle contact, which allows the camstack to rotates continuously. Given the age of this model, you may or may not be able to correct this condition. It will take an experienced repair person and a gentle hand to try. I recommend you contact a authorized warranty repair dealer. Good Luck.

The van was hit on the back passenger side resulting in a dent . The open door light along with the interior lights flashed when I hit a bump. I hear something that sounds like a fan continuosly blowing....

I think this may be the "closer" motor continuously trying to gain a positive latch--and unable to do so. This could be from a damaged latch switch.

The sliding door has three motors, a slide motor, a release (or unlatch) motor, and a closer (or latching) motor. The open door light and interior lights coming on seem to indicate that the "closed and latched" switch is sometimes open-- allowing the closer motor to continue to operate.

Another possibility is that the dent has changed the geometry of the door mechanism especially the draw of the pull cable. The slide motor has a sensor that pulses when it runs. The door management controller counts the number of pulses of the slide motor sensor to determine when the door is fully closed and then stops the slide motor. At that point, the closer motor operates to latch the door. If the cable geometry has changed, the door controller may be shutting off the slide motor prematurely and the closer motor cannot complete the latch.

The projector keeps turning as though it was is in a very quick timer mode when I power it on.

It is operating in "continuous cycle" mode. It's possible a contact on the slide change camstack has either worn out or an adjustment to that electrical contact point needs to be made. An authorized Service Dealer has the instructions to make this repair.

Projector will not hold the slides down when advance button is pressed.

By your description, it sounds like a continuous cycle problem. It could be an adjustment, or possibly need to have a part in the slide change mechanism replaced. Either way, these both are problems best left to people trained to affect such repairs. Contact a qualified service dealer.

Non stop continuous slide tray advance

You didn't specify a model of KODAK Slide Projector.... but the problem you describe is usually caused by excessive wear of the slide change mechanism, inside the projector. This repair is best performed by an Authorized Repair Dealer.

I have a photoco photoshare 7d and i can't figure out how to make to slide show work with an sd card. Also my computer won't communicate with it when hooked up with an usb cable.

Load the pictures off the media card. Choose a picture, this mode leaves that picture on permanently. At this point hold down the menu button and the picture will change slides. It will continue to change slides after that at your chosen slide interval time :) Can't help you with the USB connection though.
