Question about Sanyo EasyStreet NVM-4370 Car GPS Receiver

Sanyo screen,nothing at all

I have my easystreet for 5months and now it comes on and all i see is the sreen with sanyo on it ,all my icons are gon and it lets me do nothing. having the exact same issue.....stuck on "Sanyo" splash screen even after soft and hard reboot. How do you perform a hard or soft reboot??? Is that just turning the thing off and on???

Use the car charger and plug the unit in the car charge it up for 1/2 and hour, unplug and continue to charge the rest of it in the house with a AC USB charger, you should be good to go

Easystreet nvm4370 gps wont start tried reinstall


Have you tried to check if the battery is fully charged. Then you try to test the adapter or charger on another easystreet gps. Then borrow another battery and try it on it to see if it will start. after carrying out this tests, you will be able to detect the fault.
But if your gps comes on but do not start, then you need to format the easystreet with a computer and reinstall the maps, that should do the job.

I powered off my Sanyo NVM4030 yesterday but I can't power on it today. I wonder what's the matter with it.


Push the reset button for more than 15 second and try.
Mine had the same problem I solved it this way.

I has to reset my sanyo easystreet nvm-4370 and all i get is the sanyo screen and the mass storgae device isn't recognized by the computer. is this the flash drive failure?


Sell it and buy a tom tom sanyo doesn't care they just want money the easiest way they can get it without backing there products as usual

When pluged into charger screen flashes on and OFF cannot get menu to come up


charger does not have enought power to charge the unit at a fast enought rate. Try a diff charger. one for a gps not a phone

NVM-4370 shipped with one voice per language therefore you will not able to do so.

Main Menu -> Settings -> Language.

Looks like the ShellDisk (Sanyo proprietary disk) is corrupted. If you have a good copy of it you can try to restore it but most people don't know how to back up it at first place.

Sanyo 4370 - Unable to find GPS


Make sure your GPS is not blocked. Try to acquire sattelite signals in an open and clear area. From Main Menu, tab Sys Info. and tab GPS Reset. After this, wait for a few minutes and check GPS Status again. Sometimes it takes a while depending where you are located.
