Question about Kenwood KDC-MP628 CD Player
At one point the cd player ejectedt a cd that was in the player without the face being on at times when i put the face on the player sounds like it trying to read a cd but my amp is not turning on and the face plate is not on but the security light is blinking
On the faceplate back, there should be some metal contacts. Take a white (not pink, red, purple, etc) pencil eraser and clean the contacts on the faceplate back. You can take a little rubbing alcohol and a q-tip to the contacts on the player itself...just use a little bit. Let it dry for about 5 minutes and try again. If it has a reset button, you may try pushing it, however that will most likely reset the clock, radio stations, and any eq settings.
