Question about Toshiba 61HX70 61" Rear Projection Television
I think i have been having the same problem as a few other people with the blinking red power light. The only difference with mine is when i plug the TV in the picture comes on but is very distored and you cant really make out any words on the menu screen or channel numbers that appear. Then after about 30 seconds the TV turns off and the blinking power light comes on. Just curious if because the TV actually turns on when plugged in if this could be a different problem then others may be having. Is this something you can fix by replacing a fuse or something else simple or should i just call someone so i dont damage it further.
First i had a problem with distorted picture and shot down - i replaced IC's and now i have another issue with the green and red bowing and not lining up on the screen - solution for both issues are discussed here -- replace the IC's -- but i did just that, neatly and carefully, IC's came from ebay
is there anything else i should check/replace, try diferents IC's or does it need calibration?
thank you all you gurus!
