You have to select the correct input source, for your television to recognize the computer as the input source. After completing the hook-up connections. Turn on the television. Use the television remote to select the input source. 1.push the input button 2. use the up and down arrows to find the VGA input and press enter. Now turn on you computer and adjust the display controls of the computer if necessary. This information was found on the Dynex website in the owner manual on page 8. The website can be found with this link.(http://www.dynexproducts.com/pc-680-23-dynex-32-720p-flat-panel-lcd-hdtv-matte-black.aspx) Just copy the link and paste it into your address bar. You can find a customer section and communicate with customer service through the e-mail service. You can also call the customer service at the customer service telephone number 1-800-305-2204. Give them the model number of the television and the problem you are having connecting it to the computer. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

Xbox elite connected to TV thru HDMI works fine, but connected via bcs-fs500 receiver = no audio or video Cable tv through receiver works fine Have tried cable tv through receiver inputs HDMI 1 and 2...

Hook your Xbox to tv via HDMI, then hook TV to reciever through digital optical or composite cables. If you try to get your picture through receiver first, you may get picture and sound but, sound may be delayed and picture might not be the best. Bettter to run through tv first then provide sound to receiver.

I have succesfully connected my dynex 32" lcd hdtv 720p 60hz to my rogers digital box and my xbox but i only have room to connect my audio cables for my surround sound speakers to my tv cables there is no...

What cables are you using for the XBOX and the digital box? What surround sound system are you using (what receiver)? Which model of Dynex 32" TV do you have? Looking at the DX-L32-10A, I can connect both devices to the TV and then the audio out to the surround sound system.

If HDMI, then that will carry the audio to the TV and then you would need an audio cable from the audio out on the TV to the surround sound speakers. Similarly, if you use component video and the audio cable combination, there are 2 component video jacks and 3 audio-in jacks on the rear of the TV. Then connect another cable from the audio out of the TV to the surround sound system. (This TV has one audio out and a headphone jack.)

If you previously had the audio going from the Rogers digital box directly to the surround sound system, you need to reroute things unless there are two or more sets of audio in jacks on the surround sound system. Some surround sound system can take several HDMI in cables and then route it to the TV on a HDMI out port.

Without more information, I can't be sure of the best option for your cables.

I hope this gets you started and please provide more information for additional suggestions.

No picture on new Dynex 42" lcd hdtv

Do you have cable or DVD player connected yet? If not, connect your cable to the back of the LCD via Coaxial cable. Next turn channel to 3 or 4 whatever channel you use for cable. Then use auto programming to find all of your cable channels. If no cable connect the DVD outputs to one of the AV 1 or Av2 inputs on the back of your LCD. Power on the DVD player and change your input to which ever AV you connected it to. You should see a blue screen and your DVD Player Icon.

Dell Inspiron 2200 to Phillips 47 " TV

check this out http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/762913.html *A VGA connector and cable are used to carry analog video signals plus display and graphics data. The VGA is a 15-pin connector commonly found on laptops and other devices. With this port you need a PC-to-TV Convertor to connect laptop to TV. You simply plug the VGA cable from the source into the convertor, and use an S-Video or RCA cable out to the TV. The converter is USB powered, so there’s no external power adapter to carry around, making this laptop to TV connection entirely portable. you will need a seperate audio cable unless you are going to use your laptop's speakers

Laptop to TV

I dont believe that you can hook that model up to a TV you have to have a certin video output and it also would depend on your tv as well. But i am about 100% sure that series does not have the output you need you usally can connect via S-cable
