Blue screen error appearing while installing Windows XP. I cant install windows xp. plz help me. I want to install windows xp.

format the drive in which you have XP before , then install a fresh copy of XP

then when XP's finished first of all Update your drivers first.

Find out what graphic/video card you have.

Start Menu > Run > Dxdiag > Go to the Display Tab >
It should say the Name of the Graphic/Video card.

After you find out the name just google the card and find the drivers.

Install it and see how it works. good luck do vote

Pc not starting from pressing power on. Green LED for SB_PWR is on and when power switch pressed, fan & cool fan flicker momentarily but nothing happens. They do not spin. No LED light appears on front...

> PC had been suddenly powering off several times intermittently for a few days leading up to this state. Does this mean the PSU or Motherboard is at fault?

Yes, either CPU or PSU or motherboard are the likeliest culprits.

It's easier to try a different PSU than to try a different CPU or motherboard.

Gigabyte GA-945GCMX-S2 Motherboard having display..

At first I thought your screen went black during the start up process. After seeing the bios screen. In which case I would've said it was a bios setting for the display. Then I realized that I think you mean that their is no display at all. When you push the power button. Only the monitor led light. So, it may be a problem with your RAM stick/s. You should make sure that they are properly seated in the mother board. If they are new, make sure they are compatible with that motherboard. If you can you should swap them out with known good ram sticks. You could also try installing a video card and see if you can get display to work through that one. Make sure your main power supply wire connector is pushed in all the way. Swap the power supply with a known good one if you can. If still can't get it to work you may want to take the motherboard out and inspect it for burns, cracks, and anything that doesn't look right. Maybe contact the manufacturer of the motherboard and ask them what you can check. hope this helps.

No power and blinking green LED

It may not be that the bios needs clearing, take the left side panel off and look for the 'JBAT1' terminal on the mobo and put jumper cap from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3 for a few seconds then back to pins 1-2. start the pc then set the time and date when prompted ans save settings.
