No I haven't checked the refresh rate. Can you tell me how? I have a t.v. near the monitor. Could that be a problem. However it doesn't do it every time the t.v. is on. Also my speakers are connected on the same strip as the monitor. I will check the connections.

Another possibility is a nearby oscillating fan or other motorized device either in proximity to the monitor or sometimes simply on the same power strip/circuit as the monitor.

I took the advise of someone who wrote in and checked my refresh rate. I found it was at 60 and was advised to change it to 75. So far I haven't experienced any fluttering or wiggling so am hoping this will do the trick. I also checked all the plug in's that were connected to my power strip to make sure they were o.k. I still have one year left on my warranty so may have my monitor checked out just in case I've missed something. Thanks for your offer. I'll be sure to save your website for future questions.

Sounds like you have a faulty LCD, or the backlight in the LCD has failed.

Check eBay for a replacement screen.

White pixels cover half of the bottom part of the screen

You probably have faulty lcd panels inside the tv. replacing them can cost alot of money. I assume you have tried different inputs? If the dots are in excactly the same place then the lcd panels or lcd controller are faulty.

Samsung flat screen only clicks. Will not turn on

If it is a LCD it could be a bad power supply or the inverter board.
Both require a service man and could be costly..
