Question about Panasonic TH-42PX75U 42 in. Plasma Television
I have a 42 inch Panasonic Plasma that won't turn on. It's about 1 year and 3 months old, so it's just off warranty. A couple weeks ago I went to turn it on in the morning and it wouldn't turn on. No flashing red lights at all. The DVD player is plugged into the same power strip and works fine, so I know it wasn't a power issue on my end. I called panasonic and they had me try a few things that did not work, so I took it to a local repair shop. After two weeks of not hearing anything from the repair shop, I stopped in and he said when he plugged it in, it worked fine. So I brought it home and hooked it back up. It's worked fine for about a week. This morning, I tried turning it on and nothing. No flashing red light or anything. I unplugged it and plugged back in tonight and still nothing. I'm not sure if it's a loose connection internally, bad power supply or what? You have any suggestions on this?? I have the same tv, same problem. Will try to figure out problem. Mine is 19 mo old.
Your powerboard is damaged, and need to be replaced.
Sometimes it appear the TV is working again with no problem but it is only a matter of time for the board to get completely damaged.
