Question about Westinghouse SK-32H540S 32 in. LCD TV
I have the SK-32H540S which is a 32 inch Lcd TV. I have it plugged into my normal cable connection. Most channels work perfectly on this TV, but on some channels at random times I get a "No Signal" message and my screen goes black. After a few seconds the channel works normally again, but then a few seconds later it goes to "no signal" again. This repeats on on and on on these channels.
This didn't happen on my old normal TV I used to have nor does it happen on the 44inch Samsung lcd we have in the living room or any other TV in the house. I'm positive this issue has to do with the TV and not with my cable. I've tried calling Westinghouse but after hours of being on hold I have given up.
I hope someone can help me, thanks in advance

Hello, it sounds like you need to replace the inverter board, I believe this model has LIPS board which is the power board and the inverter board put in to one single board. You can find price and availability for parts by emailing email@example.com.

Take a strong light and put it up against the screen. Do you see a faint image? if yes, then your backlight has failed. Could be a lamp, inverter or power supply issue. Not for DIY'ers.

The problem is cause by the transformer on LIPS inverter (Power supply + Inverter board). You could see an obvious burn on the 1 of these transformers ( There are total 3 black transformer on this board). The part number is 4302H. It is available online at http://www.lcdparts.net/TransformerDetail3D.aspx?ProductID=2775
