The old way was to throw it on the fire for an hour or so, this will burn out the carbon, you could do it with a small blow torch.

A chainsaw or small engine repair shop may have the part.

If not, Click here for the Ryobi Service center locator page. Just enter your zip or area code and it will display a list of the nearest Ryobi service centers.

SOURCE: How to remove the clutch

Remove the clutch housing...should be a small Torx head screw in the neck of the housing, screwed into the threaded end of the crankshaft. Once housing is off, rap on the solid inside ears of the clutch with a small hammer and flat-head chisel..counterclockwise. If stubborn, don't beat it to death. Use penetrating oil on it and try again later. It will come off.

I have the 2008 velocity 150cc scooter my muffler bracket is broke and it rattled my bolts lose so I tightened them but it still has a leak Do I need a new gasket And if so where would I find one

you can make your own with gasket paper its not real paper but thats what some company call this. there is a number of thicknesses, or just use some gum exhaust gum take the exhaust off clean the area with wire brush and put back together using the gum run engine for 10 15 min and leave to cool down and its then sealed.

I want to check if a makita rbc 230 brush wood cutter runs on petrol (neat) or two stroke mixture

I think the model your speaking of is the RBC30. It is a 2 stroke mixture. The 430 models are 4 stroke and do not require mixing oil and fuel. They are made by Ryobi for Makita.

Here is the RBC 30

RBC30SESA
  • Powerful 30cc 2-Stroke Petrol Engine
  • Easy-Start Carburettor
  • Expand-It™ Attachments Compatible
  • 18"/46cm Cutting Path Width
  • 2 Year Domestic Warranty
Info on the 430

RYRBC430SES
  • New 4 Stroke Design
  • Light in Weight 7.3kg
  • Safe Anti-kick Feature
  • Reduced Noise Levels, Lower Emissions
  • 2 Year Warranty
This is pretty much the entire line up of their brush cutters:

There is not a 230 model.

I have a Ryobi brushcutter that is 4 years old. When I was using it the other day it just would not run at full throttle. I checked spark plug, air filter and fuel filter. No adjustments on carb. I have no...

Smokey 2 cycle oil will cause the exhaust ports to carbon up and plug the spark arrestor.
Remove the muffler, use a pick to clean out the exhaust port on the engine, and the muffler inside opening, then clean the spark arrestor screen, to assure yourself you are correcting the problem start the machine up with the muffler off, it should run like a charm, if it goes back to running badly when you reattach the muffler it may be clogged on the inside.

Jammed with gummed stickers

Always put stickers in the shredder between two layers of 3-4 plain paper sheets. That's for future.
Now I would suggest getting some "Label Off", "Label Killer" or similar spray product, that will dissolve the glue, spraying the cutters and stuck labels with it several times, trying to remove them with tweezers or thin long-nose pliers. Be gentle, try not to blunt the cutters' edges.
When you get rid of the labels, spray more of the stuff on the cutters and clean them with a brush, to remove glue residue between them. Do it several times, rotating the cutters to remove the glue all around.
Then lubricate the cutters as per manufacturer's recommendations.
