Question about AppleCD 600e (M3958LL/A) CD-ROM Drive
My exterior Apple CD 600e will not show on the desktop of my old Macintosh classic Classis computer 68000 What do need to do so I can read my CD disks. The tray will open pushing the knob,The light is on this is the exact same problem I have. I have a mac color classic, system 7.5, and it will not recognize the drive
You need to go into your Extensions Manager (which is in the Control Panels) and ensure that the CD drive extension is ticked. Your discs should show up. If the discs don't please email me, and I will perform a more thorough investigation for you.
