All of a sudden, I go to use my printer and it doesn't come on. I checked the voltage of the AC outlet, and the output of the printer power supply. They are both perfect. Has anyone else had this problem.

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by
resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer
from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and
re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns
on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again
once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on
the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).
If that doesn't help, try the steps below:
Disconnect the USB cable
connecting the printer from your computer.
On your computer, go to Control
Panel > Printers and Faxes.
Delete the Lexmark print
Re-brick your printer by
pulling out the power supply - black box where the power cord is plugged
into on the back of the printer, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
When the printer turns on,
reconnect it to the computer.
Wait until your computer fully
recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers
and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, try to print
a document to verify that the problem is fixed.
You may also try to update your printer
driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/hsBChY. Select your operating system,
download and execute the file.
In most cases this error has something to do with the printers LVPS (Low Voltage Power Supply ). If the printer is connected to power surge, try to connect it to an outlet from the wall. Do an An AC power check - check the AC line voltage at the end of the AC line cord. If the Ac line cord is incorrect, replace the cord. Also check if the cord is in good condition. if not, replace the cord. If you still get the same errror, you may need to replace the printers' LVPS. For further assistance assistance please contact Lexmark Technical Support.
If printer doesn't work and it doesn't switch on, I assumed that there is no power at all on the printer. Check the AC line voltage if it is correct.
Unplug the printer. Remove the LVPS/HVPS, and check the fuses for continuity.
• If open, then replace the LVPS/HVPS. • If not open, then check the switch continuity across its conductors with the switch on. Turn the switch off. Plug the AC line into the LVPS/HVPS, and switch unit on.
Please try reseat power cable. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to replace the LVPS (Low voltage power supply) on your printer.

Great job on checking the power from AC to DC adapter. Also, make sure to plug the printer straight to the power outlet in the wall, bypass any surge device or power strip. Unplug and replug the power adapter in the printer, make sure it's properly secured and in the right position in the slot. Press the power button if needed. If this doesn't help at all, I strongly suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem. I hope I can assist you more on this matter.
I have a Lexmark X5495 printer and I had it refilled a couple of weeks ago, suddenly i have a message that goes "Order new ink" or something and i check the cartridge but it is still full. I try restarting the printer and even the computer but the printer STILL won't let me print.
