Pull the washer away from the wall about two feet and tip it back against the wall. The pump is located right behind the front panel attached to the motor. With the washer tipped back, you should be able to see if water is dripping from the pump. The pump is attached to the motor with two spring clips. Please let me know if this helps you and let me know if I can assist you further.

My wahing machine is leaking for he bottom

Please check the bottom side of the washer and see if there is leak on the drain valve/pump or the hose of the outlet. The most important is the first hand information from your observation.
There can also be a leak from overflowing or a leak from the tub.
Once confirmed then the leak can be confirmed by replacement of the valve/pump or the hose.
If not the estimation must be thought of before you proceed.

Leaking from the bottom back

Hi, If not a hose leak, check for leakage around the water pump. On our top-load Kenmore, the leak showed up at the front right of the machine. Water was leaking where the pump slides onto the motor shaft. Replacement of pump consists of: (1) unplug power cord and then remove 2 screws at corners of the dial/control panel to tilt it back, (2) unplug wiring harness, (3) remove two spring clips holding white metal console to the frame then tilt console forward and remove, (4)pump was in front of machine with two black hoses attached via hose clamps - remove the spring clips at top & bottom of pump and remove the two hose clamps, (5) slide new pump onto shaft and reassemble in reverse order.

Take care

GWL11 Washer. Leaking from bottom. Doesn't appear to leak during wash cycle.

Have you checked the pump on the bottom of the washer? You may have to empty the water out of the unit by hand. Then tilt the machine backward. The pump is on the bottom and no tools are needed to remove it. If the pump is wet or rusted then that should be your problem. Another way to check the pump is to remove the 2 screw ib the back of the machine on the top, and remove the electronic controlls. inside the machine is instructions to turn the pump on.

There is a leak in the bottom of our washing machine

If the leak is from the front, you will need a pump. If in the rear check the water valve and the inlet hoses. Also if a lg leak check the hose from the pump to the drain grommet. They sometimes split.

My washer is leaking...

Open the rear panel on the washer. Check the 3 rubber hoses connected to the pump. Make sure there are no splits, or a **** in any of them. Also look at the pump and make sure the casing is not cracked and dripping (if coins enter the pump they can crack the casing, causing a leak). If there is a leak in a hose, replace that particular hose. If the pump casing is cracked, replace the pump.
