Chain Surround sounds?

Is there a way to chain say multiple 5.1 surround sound systems? Like having two 5.1 systems playing the same thing at the same time?

Yes, the simplest way is to feed the signal from whatever you want to listen to into both systems, either by using a "splitter" which takes the output from the signal source and "splits" it in to multiple outputs which you can feed to the 5.1 systems. Please rate my answer, thanks.

Unable to set surround sound to work

The media you are playing must have surround sound recorded or encoded on it in order for surround sound to play or occur. Get a DVD or CD that has surround sound stated on the label - otherwise the system defaults to stereo playback.

I'm having trouble with sound when i try and install a surround sound system. This is the second system I've had that my lg would not play sound

Firstly you must have the remote typically to set the speakers up or there is a combination of keys to do this but usually some functions cannot be changed without the remote.
Second, the surround sound playback can only be played if the sound that you are listening to has the surround sound track, otherwise you may not hear hardly anything when your device is set to the wrong function.

The speakers must also match the surround sound system otherwise you may not hear anything at all.
Remember: A 5.1 System is 5-speakers,   A 7.1 system is 7 speakers!

The speakers should be marked for which place they belong LF= Left,Front...etc.

Digital audio cable does nothing?

You need to look at the two sources that don't work for why they're not providing surround.

HINT: It is the rare TV that can provide surround. Video is a TV's strong suit, not Audio. TV's are usually at the end of the audio chain, not the beginning.

TV-related audio always come from somewhere else than the TV, so get it from the source, not the TV.

Not good surround sound Is the bose lifestyle 5 support 5.1 surround sound?

The Bose Lifestyle 5 is not a 5.1 surround sound system. It is a 2.1 sound system, meaning it is stereo with a subwoofer/bass unit. Having two speakers that can be angled in different directions, the Bose Lifestyle 5 employs Bose direct/reflecting technology, providing greater audio presence. Still, it is definitely not a surround sound system.

Model wd-60735 sound will go up and down

I usually do not give short answers but here I will you what I would try first:

Connect a DVD unit or something else to one of the unused video inputs--make sure you have the speakers in the set turned ON and the surround sound system OFF.

If you do not have the problem when doing this it is very unlikely the problem is in the set--it is possible but I would put the % at about 5.

If it does the same thing with the surround system out of play it is a sound problem inside the set.

I would bet it will work that way---FYI if you are using a cable or Satellite box---it could also cause the problem if it is supplying audio signal to the surround system.

If this has helped you rate this solution as I do it here for free.

Surround sound hookup

Hook your satelite receiver to your TV. Then run from your TV audio out to your surround sound system. This should make your surround sound system work with anything your TV is playing.
