42 Philips Plasma 42pf5321d/37 green light on no AV no Menu nothi

Hi I have a Philips 42 " 42pf5321d/37  bought 11.06 . My av went dead cant bring up menu or anything on the screen. I unplug the set, plug it in and  the green light comes on , theres a few seconds and something inside doubleclicks like it's shutting down but the light remains green. except it looks a little funny. Not as bright as usual.  I tried to reload firmware and the memory device blinks like its being read but still no nothing. Appreciate help. I have a TV guy looking at it but is there an inline fuse that may be causing this? Any help appreciated. Dave R.  same thing
