Take out the card and uninstall anything you already installed. Reboot and run the install cd again until it either
a: finishes the install
b: asks you to put the card in.
Do not put the card in at any point prior to (a) or (b)

Photos on verizon tablet were not stored on sd card, how do I get them on sd card

According to Verizon support:
"From the Device to a Removable SD Card This feature is not available on the Verizon Ellipsis 7 Tablet"

However, you can transfer photos from the tablet to a computer; and then you can transfer them to a removable SD card if you have an external USB SD card port reader or one that's PC integrated.

According to Verizon customer support:
From the Device to a Computer
  1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
    1. If necessary, select and hold the status bar (at the top) then drag to the bottom.
    2. Select Connected as a camera / an installer.
    3. Select Media device (MTP).
  2. Launch Windows Explorer.
linote.gif Using the computer keyboard, press Windows+E ( windows_key_logo.jpg+E) keys.
linote.gif Alternatively, right-click Start then click Open Windows Explore.
  3. Using Windows Explorer, navigate: QMV7A.
linote.gif If you have a microSD card, you may transfer files to that location by navigating: QMV7A > SD Card.
  4. Utilize the computer to copy video/picture files from the following folders to the preferred folder(s) on the computer:
    • DCIM/Camera
  5. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.

Got new Verizon jetpack today..have a d-link device...won't connect.....previous Verizon mi-fi worked fine????

Well, sorry to say you have struck out, first it's Verizon, then a JetPack and finally D-Link. The only way I was able to get mine working was to switch to a Cisco device for the link, drop the D-link!

I had a Qualcomm arcade and now I'm trying to use a friends pantech discard. All it does is says its checking for other vzacess software. Just wondering if you now anything about it. Both cards are...

Remove your wireless card(s). Uninstall all Qualcomm, Panatech and Verizon software. Restart the computer. Download and install the latesst software from the card that you want to use (Panatech?). Only insert the card when the installation prompts you or after the install is complete. Once the card is properly installed, download and install the latest Verizon software.

Good luck!

Is there a device that will convert a Verizon

why don't you Verizon PCMCIA card to a USB one, most of the newer ones are free upgrades, so the tax you pay might be same or less than buying an adapter and carrying around 2 parts and dealing with a cable.

call 611 from your Verizon phone for info or stop into a local Verizon store

Can't play any music

chances are your driver on your pc is corrupt. uninstall your driver from your pc for your phone then re install it. then go to verizons web site to see if there is an update for your device and download and install on your pc. delete all music files on the sd card( i know this is not probably what you want to do but chances are the music files are corrupt as well.. after you do all of these steps sync the phone to the pc and download one music file to the phone go in your applications page on the phone find the file and then transfer it to the sd card. remove the usb cord from the phone then play the file on the phone it should work properly
