I have damage in my screen and i think if some new version available which more clear so i dont know the items number or i buy the basic one

please advice

How did the repairman prove the blue CRT is bad ? Did he cover
the CRT leaving a good red & green video with no flickering or did
he cover the red & green and observe the flickering in blue...?
Did he discuss the hyper module with you ?.........T.

Hi,

The model number 42pw33p is not a valid Toshiba model number. However, 42H81 is a valid number. The listing below is for model 42H81 ONLY! Double check you number before purchasing.

There are 3 screens that make up the screen assembly The inner screen is the Fresnal Screen. The middle screen is the Lenticular Screen and the outer screen is the Protective Screen. Please click on the links below to purchase these items.

My Toshiba TE55T11 also has a broken screen. I contacted the Toshiba hot line in Australia and they said that they don't make screens for this TV anymore. so i just got a new Toshiba 72CM9UA.

We also have vertical lines with our JVC 62"... turning it off and letting it cool down is the only solution. For us, we know it's a problem with heat. We simply are wits end on fixing it. added two additional fans, a exterior fan to blow heat away from the back of the tv, pulled everything else away, etc.... Anyway, goodluck.

most likley your problems are on the hyper board in the set
it will sorta dance at the top and be shaking back and forth at a fast rate
it would require the hyper board being repaired or exchanged
you would most likley wont to locate a professional in your area to assist with this repair
average repair is 280 to 320 in my area

I forget the pin code for my 61' toshiba tv how do i clear it

Dont know what model or how old your TV is but try this,
While the enter PIN code screen is displayed, press the RECALL key four times within five seconds and the PIN code will be cleared so you can enter a new PIN code but it has to be with the original remote. Worked with my old Toshiba TV about 2 years ago.
If it doesnt work I only waisted about 10 secounds of your time and I'm sorry.

Scratches on tv screen.

I have used clear plastic sheets and silicon tire dressing for smaller problems like this, but no idea how well it would work with a large screen TV. The westleys silicon tire shine smooths out the scratches, and you place the clear plastic sheet on top of that and work out any bubbles then tape the ends. It pretty much changes a standard screen into a glossy screen with the added benefit that you can always replace the sheet if it is damaged.
I usually get my clear plastic sheets packaged with the new LCD screens I purchase for repairs and I just keep them in storage.

I Think Your Ribbon Cable May Be Damaged.
If Its Still In Warrenty Send I Back . If Not Take It To A Repair Shop And Get It Looked At.
Or You Could Just Format It And Install A fresh Version Of Windows. (Not recommended if you dont know what you are doing)

this is a rear projection tv not lcd the color is off because the convergance chips are bad take the board out that has the tow stand up chips attached to heatsinks out order the stk number search for on google then take a om meter check all the resistors aroung the chips replace them also you must be a excellent soilder person or a tech to install and remove these chips

Look up your user manual, it sounds like your zoom feature has been activated to the max. I have a Zenith backlit LCD TV and it has a zoom feature you control from your remote. You could open up your on screen menu and find the place to reset the TV to factory settings that should clear up the problem.

updated bios to the latest version - thats solution number 1, solution 2 - setting procesor to work 100 % all the time - thats a solution from toshiba service but i dont think it is a solution cause it is not a portable laptop anymore, it also doesnt work a lot, solution 3 - removing toshiba power saver from registry - dont know where exactly is toshiba power saver program in registry now but try to google, or just uninstall it, solution 4 - overheating - install for example Notebook hardware control and check the temperature of your cpu or maybe some tool or software that can monitor your graphic temeperature would be good, solution 5 - install all avaible updates of vista, solution 6 - send it to repair service if you are sure that you tried everything - maybe it is a problem with motherboard or graphic...

Hi,

Yes, the screen can be replaced. The screen is comprised of 3 screens. The Fresnal Screen (inner screen), Lenticular Screen (middle screen), and the Protective Screen (outer screen). Please see below for links to these items.

Need all 3 to complete screen assembly.The only screen that is still available is the innermost screen, which is probably not the 1 you need. You will only be able to find the middle (lenticular) and outer (protective) screens from a distributor that has them in stock as no one will be able to order them from the manufacturer.
