That mean your Bose 321 is working fine, the problem is the TV, in order to be sure lets do the following:
1. We need to be sure where the problem is.
Try to plug your 321 to another TV, if the problem is corrected it means your TV mainboard is the problem.
2. If the mainboard is the problem you can replace it or you can try another port in the TV to avoid the fix and save some money for a while.

NOTE: Before you do anything be sure your TV sound settings are adjusted properly, if you have no idea how to adjust the sound just go MENU-SOUND and from there try several options.

Are you using an amplifier? If you are, it sounds like you are using the power antenna remote turn on (usually blue) instead of the amplifier remote turn on (usually blue/white). Leaving tuner mode when using the power antenna remote turn on turns the amplifier off.

CD will not play. The CDs goes in and out fine and looks like it is playing according to the display. I can change songs, fast forward and reverse through the songs according to the display but nothing...

Do you have the radio hooked up to an amplifier? If so, it sounds like you are using the blue wire (antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on) to turn the amp on. The antenna remote wire turns off when leaving tuner mode.

My radio and cd player is playing but i have no sound

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

As a first course of action I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector and let it sit for atleast 5mins. then reconnect it. This will reset the system and can get your radio back to it's normal operation.

Hope you find this information helpful enough and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Sony bravia & Bose 321, cd's only play in black & red, tried new cables & bose repair still doing it.

The TV does not have 5.1 output except when using TV's digital tuner for viewing. Have to run digital sound from set-top box to Bose system for 5.1.
