Computer wont read any device installed

The card is enabled, and on the computer but when I open the control panel it doesn't show any active sound card. i have two audio card but does not seem to be use as a main card for sound but the test on software from its company is fine but xp does not have it has its main one

if you have more than 1 audio card you have to tell your computer which parts of the various cards to use for different purposes.

you need to go into control panel and check your sound and multimedia settings, you should then be able to "steer" your computer into using the correct devices
