Sorry man, the psp just is not great for browsing. change settings to conserve memory, and clear everything else, history etc, but the web page you are viewing is probably just too big.

My internet window will not close when I x out. It does not respond and will ask after a few minutes if i want to close the program, causing all internet windows to close. Please help!

From what I understand you are now using a new version of Internet explorer or Firefox or chrome browser, all of which use something called tabbed browsing. These browsers open multiple pages in one window as tabs. (Earlier versions of Internet explorer used to open each pages individually, and using the close button will only close that particular window). In tabbed browser each tabs can be closed. If you try to use the close button on the top right hand corner, it will ask whether you want to close all the tabs and close all tabs if answered in affirmative. To close individual tabs click on that particular tab and you will see a small X on the right hand side of that tab. Use it and only one tab will be closed.

My computer is running very slow, what do i need to do to fix this

try clearing your cookies and temp internet files. open up a explorer session, go to tools internet options. under the general tab you should see
browsing history click delete. New menu comes up make sure temp internet files and cookies are checked off click delete wait until finished then click ok ok close explore restart new session. Do you have enough memory in your computer? That could be slowing it down also.

I purchased a dir-615, set went great, i was connected until this morning. something happen in the middle of the night. I called tech support- no help. on my laptop the icon states connected- excellent...

There are several reason you can get this issue, the most common is that the date on your comuter is wrong, even a few hours can bugger up the security routines. So first things first check the date and time on your PC. Do this by double clicking the clock at the bottom right hand side of your desktop and if it's wrong you can adjust it. once you do this close any and all open internet windows and applications(email, browsers et al) then open a new window and try again.

The second possibility is your security settings in internet explorer got messed up, easy enough to fix just open internet explorer, click the tools drop down menu and select Internet options, click the advanced tab and then click the reset button at the bottom right hand of the options page. Click OK then close internet explorer, reopen it and see if it works.

If not get back to me and I'll try a couple more things for you.

Internet explore

the error is in regards to the install application for the search engine. what i wan't you you to do forst is click on your start tab. then right click the browser tab. then click the properties tab. click the delete tab on your browsing history. click the delete all will pop a small window click the box that says delete add ons and click the yes tab. a window will pop up showing the deletions when that is done close the your start tab and click on control panel options. click the network connection tab then right click on the network you use. then click on the repair tab. when that's done restart the computer.once it is rebooted click start and the browser tab and you should be allright. I believe that the virtual memory of your temporary files is full. please rate this solution thanks
