Question about Televison & Video
2 yrs ago had intermittant transmission (?) problems on channels 39-50 only. Put on new coax cable - same problem.: otherwise all worked OK. 2 nights ago fell asleep with TV on - woke up to SNOW on all channels. Re-connected coax with no difference. TV is about 20-25 yrs old - is a Sears Series LXI 25" color TV with remote. Have Comcast Cable - no box was required.
Your tuner has failed;
time for another set the cost to repair is too high

A lot of comcast systems are switching to all digital to free up bandwith. if thats the case in your area then you will need a digital transport adapter or a digital box
